Typically, the USF Event or Program you are planning to attend can assist you with your request. If you are unable to contact or locate assistance please complete the Public Accommodation Form or contact the USF ADA Lead.
Once reported, the ADA Lead will contact the appropriate contact to inform them of the report.
Please note, the university requires ten (10) working days to provide reasonable accommodations at public events.
Events and Program Hosts
USF Academic Departments and Sponsors of USF Programs and Events, such as campus cinemas, lectures, and speakers, are responsible for the following:
Follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA
Strive to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA for all electronic and web-based advertising, announcements, and content materials relating to their sponsored USF program or event.
Lack of an accommodation(s) request for their program or event does not remove sponsor’s responsibility to provide appropriate and applicable accommodation(s) – including captioning, transcription, American Sign Language (ASL) or CART (live transcription).

Advertise Accommodation Request & Provide Contact Information for the Event
Advise potential attendees who may require reasonable accommodation(s) to participate, that such accommodation(s) must be requested of the program sponsor at least ten (10) working days prior to the event and provide contact information for the request to be sent to.
