USF Engineering Master鈥檚 Student Receives 2024鈥�25 AAEES Foundation Scholarship
Tione Grant, a master鈥檚 student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, was recognized at the 2025 American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists Convocation and Celebration of Excellence on April 10 for receiving the 2024鈥�25 American Academy of Environmental Scientists and Engineers AAEES Foundation Scholarship. The award supports students pursuing a master鈥檚 degree in environmental engineering or environmental science. Congratulations, Tione!

USF's 2025 Engineering Expo - Over 50 years of Engineering Excellence
The OB体育官网鈥檚 2025 Engineering Expo once again brought science and technology to life, welcoming thousands of students, families, and community members on February 28th and March 1st. What began in 1973 as a small high school recruiting event has grown into a dynamic two-day showcase of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), attracting K-12 students from across the state.
NRT Trainee, Isabelle Eskanos, wins best poster award at the Florida Semiconductor Summit
Under the mentorship of Professor Ashok Kumar and others, NRT Trainee, Isabelle Eskanos, received the Best Poster Award for her presentation titled "Surface-Engineerable Piezoelectric PVDF Films for Tissue Engineering" for her presentation at the Florida Semiconductor Summit 2025 on February 25th-27th at the L3Harris High Technology Center, Melbourne FL.

Engineering PhD Student, Receives 2024 Chih Foundation Research and Publication Award
USF鈥檚 College of Engineering is proud to announce Yang Hu, a USF College of Medical Engineering Ph.D. student, as a recipient of the 2024 Chih Foundation Research and Publication Award, for her research on 鈥淢etabolic Flux Optimization of Iterative Pathways and Novel Substrate Utilization for Sustainable Chemical Production.鈥�
