CENTER FOR MIGRANT EDUCATION

The mission of the Center for Migrant Education is to join with local, state, and national agencies and organizations to improve education and related services for migrant children and their families through the development and study of programs and training addressed at special needs. The Center provides services and support for students from farmworker families such as individuals who have dropped out of school, students transitioning into and completing their first year of college, and students majoring in education.

The David C. Anchin Center for the Advancement of Teaching's mission is to work with K-12 teachers toward restructuring schools in ways that improve the quality of education, and to restructure the teaching profession in ways that enhance our ability to attract and retain able teachers. The Anchin Center achieves this mission through partnerships with schools, the broader educational community, business and industry, and the community at large.
