My career goal is to become a cybersecurity professional, specializing in threat detection and network defense. I鈥檓 passionate about protecting digital systems and ensuring data security, particularly in industries like government, healthcare, and finance where strong defenses are critical.
Why I chose to Attend the USF Making Waves Research Experience for Undergraduates
I chose to attend the USF Making Waves program because I鈥檓 eager to expand my programming skills while applying them to real-world research. Oceanography is a fascinating field, and I鈥檓 excited about the opportunity to combine computer science with environmental science. The program鈥檚 focus on hands-on experience and collaboration aligns perfectly with my learning style, and I believe this experience will challenge me to think critically and creatively. I鈥檓 looking forward to working alongside researchers and peers to explore how technology can enhance our understanding of marine ecosystems.
