Institution, Major, and Hobbies
I am a biology major at Lynn University. My hobbies include working in the lab with worms or bacteria, photography, working on cars, listening to music, and recently working out.
Career Interests
My career interests stem from a deep care and love for animals, and I want to go beyond the surface level, which is why I aspire to be a veterinarian. After becoming a veterinarian, I plan to open my own vet clinic and offer care to a broader range of animals. As a result of those efforts, I hope to increase overall access to animal care. Lastly, I have a desire to invest in and support rescue shelters.
Why I chose to Attend the USF Making Waves Research Experience for Undergraduates
I chose to attend the USF Making Waves REU because of the introduction I would receive to oceanography and climate science. USF grants access to many different research facilities and projects, allowing students to use a variety of new lab supplies to pursue their research. My current focus on my undergraduate degree is in biology. USF will open the door to the marine biology field, which I am very passionate about, and will help me learn more about marine science.
