Institution, Major, and Hobbies
I am a rising senior at Ohio State University pursuing a bachelor鈥檚 in environmental science with a major in water science and a minor in Geographic Information Systems. My hobbies include biking, working out, swimming, climbing, reading, photography, and gardening.
Career Interests
I want to study how toxins in water travel and impact both ecosystems and human health. My ultimate goal is to ensure people have access to clean drinking and recreational water, safe food, and a healthy environment. I may not yet know the exact career that will allow me to do this鈥攂ut I will find it.
Why I chose to Attend the USF Making Waves Research Experience for Undergraduates
I chose USF Making Waves because I loved the intersection of science research and communication. The opportunity to receive on board vessel experience overnight is very cool as well!
