Research Overview

The Tricker Lab focuses on understanding the phenomena that govern the performance of electrified chemical reactors in transforming renewable feedstocks. Our research integrates fundamental studies of reaction engineering, catalysis, materials science, and transport phenomena, with an emphasis on electrochemical reactors and mechanocatalytic reactors.  The ultimate goal of our work is to establish the principles needed to realize the next-generation chemical processes for producing sustainable fuels and chemicals.
