USF hosts annual ASL Bowl, celebrating language and culture

High school students competing at ASL Bowl

​Hillsborough County high school students participate in USF's annual ASL Bowl, an event hosted by the ASL Interpreting program and the ASL Bulls student organization.

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting program, in partnership with ASL Bulls, hosted the annual ASL Bowl on Tuesday, March 25.

ASL Bulls is a USF student organization dedicated to inspiring students to learn ASL and fostering meaningful connections between Deaf and hearing communities.

The ASL Bowl brought together high school students from Hillsborough County public schools who are passionate about ASL for a friendly, yet competitive event aimed at promoting awareness, fluency, and appreciation of ASL and Deaf culture. The event
