Hi! My name is Anne, I am a Junior at USF studying Computer Science. I have been passionate about programming since high school, and I am glad that I chose USF because of its strong academics and endless opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. I also enjoy working in a vibrant environment in a team full of enthusiastic and motivated people, which is what makes USF perfect to me.
Why did I want to become an Ambassador?
I remember when I was in high school (and as a freshman at college), I had very little knowledge about the field of Computer Science. I wish I had more resources at that time and knew how to manage my time better. I wanted to become an ambassador to help students avoid the obstacles that I encountered, and to guide them to grow not only professionally, but personally in this field.
Clubs and organizations
I am currently a Community Lead at Google Developer Student Club. I love the community there and how people always encourage you to learn and grow with them. I have also been a part of the Society of Competitive programmers for a long time, serving as an Expo Chair and helping create a machine learning project to present to K-12 students.
Fun fact about me
I love cooking! Italian and Mediterranean cuisines are my favorite, and my favorite dish right now is Athenian Fish (you can check it out at Acropolis Greek taverna)
